Rex Spencer Equipment Company:
Serving Kansas City for over 30 years
Superior sales and service, competitive financing, flexible equipment rental, complete parts and an extensive network of quality used heavy equipment.
Rex Spencer Equipment Company is an established and well recognized heavy equipment dealer in the Kansas City area, representing quality manufacturers including Case, Takeuchi, Okada, Doosan/Daewoo, Lull and Belshe.
The Rex Spencer Equipment Company was
founded by Rex and Edith Spencer in early 1970 as a J.I. Case
agricultural and utility equipment dealer. The original location
was in Peculiar Missouri, seven miles south if the present
location in Belton, Missouri. Rex was an astute businessman
who often described his territory as "the globe." During a
single year in the 1970's, Rex sold over 100 Case 580B loader
backhoes. Equipment with Rex Spencer stickers were -- and
still are -- found all over the Midwest.
The Rex Spencer Equipment Company was purchased
in 1983 by James W. Foreman, owner of the Victor L. Phillips
Company of Kansas City, Missouri. Since that time there
have been many improvements, the most important being the
development of a strong team of people. Sales volume now exceeds
9 million dollars annually. The building and grounds have
been continually improved resulting in a clean, well organized
facility.
The Rex Spencer Equipment Company facilities
are conveniently located at 323 N. Mullen Road in Belton, Missouri,
adjacent to U.S. Highway 71.
